My son has basicly what you have described. We saw a doctor and it turned out that an infection was just setting in. I knew things weren't right when the area infected started to become inflamed and red - the signs of infection. We clean the area basicly 3-4 times a day with hydrogen peroxide and we have been applying a perscribed ointment that helps with the itch. He is taking an antibiotic for the infection which by the way has lost it's redness and inflamation. He blisters look so bad. From what I understand, they should not be covered. But if you do need to cover them do so with gaze so that they can still be exposed to air. The ozzing is O.K. since this is just a sign that your body is fighting the invader. This condition, although unsightly, is not harmful and will not cause spreading. Good luck! |
