My 9-year-old daughter was recently hospitalized because of poison oak. She is on Zyrtec and Benadryl. They also gave her two creams to rub on the affected areas, Bactroban and Desowen. Now that all of the blisters have diminished, she is left with redness on her face, chest and behind her knees, and this is where I have to apply the creams. The spot behind her knee is extremely "scary-looking" (big, purplish-red, kind of looks like a big bruise). I have noticed that using these two creams together, it is slowly fading. Looking sooooo much better!!!
