My husband has had poison ivy for 6 weeks now. Thought it was gone and it came back. I now have Poison Ivy for the past 3 weeks. It itches so bad. I am on steroids for the next 14 days because my asthma is acting up. Is the poison ivy making my asthma act up? My asthma did not bother me until I got the Poison Ivy on me. The rash is not as bad as some of those pictures. Mine looks similar to red hives then they turn to something looking like a welt with a scab on the center. This is poison ivy right? I have no blisters that I can tell.
I got the poison ivy from my grandma's house. My husband got it at a friends house. I do not believe it is contigous. That is what the doctor said. After washing his hands twice.
