Poision IVY

I'm pretty sure I have posion ivy in my back yard. If I spray it with Ortho Poision Ivy killer and the ivy is on a large hill above the other half of my yard, will the spray run down hill when it raiins and kill the grass and plants in the rest of my yard? Amber
