I've recently come down with a case of poison ivy (it's been about two weeks), and am supposed to go to an amusement/water park tomorrow. Will contact with the chlorinated water make the wounds worse, or should I be ok to go out and have fun?
The rash seems to be getting better and as far as I know I should no longer be contagious. The wounds have pretty much stopped weeping but continue to itch pretty badly. I do have fairly sensitive skin but have never had a problem swimming in pools - I tend to moisturize very well after being in pool water. |
