Hello:
I encountered an unusual looking poison ivy plant against my fence in the backyard yesterday. The plant leaves appear over run with little nodules that, by all appearences, look like they are killing the plant. Younger vines surrounding this one, look like they've "caught" the "infection" too. Has anyone ever heard or observed something similar?
It struck me that if this proved to be a poison ivy parasite that whatever this is could be isolated/replicated so that it could be used as a natural control for the pesky plant. |
