| Dead Leaves and stems can still be contagious. Because it is an oil it stays in the leaves and stems even after they are cut. This is why people with horses often have trouble with PI since it gets into their hay and all they have to do is touch the hay a year later. So pick up the leaves with gloves and dispose of them before you mow. |
