| I was exposed to PI on June 29th. I started using Technu on June 30th and it worsened... dramatically!!! I went to the ER on July 2nd. I was given a shot of steroids while there and put on a weeks dose of Prednesone with oral Benadryl three times daily. The initial sites of the PI are substantial much better and the sites are slowly healing but it is still spreading and still itchy. Now granted, the severity is NOTHING like it was prior to the meds but it is on a new part of my body everyday! I went for a follow-up visit to my Doctor on June 10th and she gave me Diflorasone Diacetate (steroid cream) with Atarax for night time use and Claritine (for hives) during the day. It is still spreading! How do you contain this stuff?!? |
