Hot showers were a life saver for me within minutes the itch would be become bearable until I was informed by the nurse and the doctor that pores are opening and pustules are popping causing the skin to become more susceptible and I quickly covered from the top of my head to the very end of my big toe. NO HOT WATER. Luke warm to cool only. I'm living proof
