Im desperate here! I went hiking on a Wednesday and the rash started showing up on my right arm on Friday. By Monday it was starting to appear on my right leg. Its now 13 days later since I was exposed and the original site on my arm is just starting to settle down and scab up. So is the original spot on my leg. The problem is that during this whole time, it continues to spread. In the same vicinity as the original outbreaks, no other new areas. But the new outbreaks are just as bad, if not worse than the originals. The spot on my leg was at first maybe a few penny size spots. Those few spots are starting to scab up, but the rest of the entire top of my thigh has continued to blister up. It just keeps growing and spreading and its now perilously close to the area that Id really prefer to remain oak-free! Is this type of reaction normal? Can it continue to pop up days and weeks following initial outbreak. I have not worn the same clothes that I wore hiking. Im pretty desperate at this point. |
