Be VERY careful if you hear a hissing then a pop when burning
such a log. It happened in my living room fireplace & the spray
covered me sooo thoroughly that I was hospitalized. Luckily I
didn't breathe in the vapor but did have a friend who breathed
it in & was flat lined before reaching the hospital (they did
manage to bring her back). I couldn't see nor open my mouth for
a solid week. I do have a screen over the opening but it happened while I was stoking the fire. Never dreamed it would
happen in my home!! |
