| I was wrong in my last posting. The 4th time I contracted poison ivy, I had it on my arms and it spread to my stomach. I took very hot showers three to 4 times a day but no soap. I just let the hot water open the pores and drain the poison. Than I used a hair dryer to dry myself not a towel. I used Sarna creme and a cortizone pill prescribed by our Dr. This took about 3-4 weeks but I still have the scars after 2months. So, it is a lengthey process and certainly more than 10 days. |
