| If it has 'helicopters', it's a maple. If it looks like poison ivy and has helicopters, it's a box elder which is a maple tree. Although box elders spread like wildfire if uncontrolled, they are not poisonous. They make very good fence row trees. The leaves on a box elder branch are always opposite of each other. |
