I know that there has been work on finding a way to identify the oil but I don't know of any success in that field. There is another issue - the time to bonding can vary. I've had outbreaks where I know I washed well within 5 minutes of contact. And I've read studies that say that bonding can occur in as little as 2 minutes though the average is more like 15-30 minutes. The best way to avoid contact is to be able to identify the plants.
