| I took Prednisone last Sept. for my P/I. It was prescribed that I take 10 tablets on the first day, 9 on the second day and continued one less pill each day until I was down to one pill on the last day. I don't remember the mg. I found that by the time I was done taking the medication, I really wasn't myself, it seemed to effect my judgment for at least 2 weeks after. I'm not sure what was worse... the dose or the cure. Seven months later I suspect my P/I has returned but a much milder case. I don't think I came in contact with the plant this time, it's not out of the ground yet (I live in Canada). I'm starting to think that if I hadn't of taken the prednisone the P/I would have gone through my system naturally and run it's course. But, I have also heard that the rash just returns on it's own for something like seven years after your first dose. Whoever said that I sure hope they're wrong! |
