urushiol from PI can last a long long time (some say over 5 yrs) and yes if as much the size of a pin head is on her you can contract it.
urushiol is an oil so what ever you use to remove it must have a "degreaser" type agent (bathing is the best but thats messy and cruel and time consuming and funny if your cats like mine). a good brush cant hurt and making sure no PI is in the immediate area. |
