Not to worry there is no poison ivy in Oregon. However, there is plenty of poison oak all over the state. I know this first hand, as I'm writing this response in a great deal of discomfort. I've been looking for info on oral Ivy when I saw your post. As for the rest of the question P.O. grows on dry/well drained hilsides, and often times hiding near oak trees. It's found throughout the state
in the drier areas below 1500 feet elevation. Southern Oregon in the valley is definitely the worst. |
