| I had broke my hand about a month ago and was in a splint for about two weeks before I got a cast put on. And about a week or a week and a half into having a cast I had an itch on my finger than about the same time i started to get an itch on under my cast. It was terrible,I've heard it's normal to be itchy under a cast, but I didn't think it would be this bad. On my finger it became real bumpy and itchy. So, i went to the doctor to stress my concern about whether it was poison oak or some other kind of rash.. due to the fiberglass cast. So he took it off and my whole arm was covered in this scaly, oozy, blistery rash. I can't tell if it's poison oak or a fiberglass rash. The doctor wasn't quite sure either because it wasn't on any other part of my body besides under the cast and on my finger. I have pictures of it if any wants to see it and tell me what they might think it is. |
