I work for city in the parks dept. I trim the trees in the city and I am working around poison ivy a lot and I am very allergic to it. Is there any type of preventative. I wear long sleeves pants and gloves daily. And i still get it every other week or so. And also we usually chip up the poison ivy through a wood chipper, would this be the same as burning the poison ivy and could cause lung damage?
