I recently worked on a site where there was a trmendous amount of weedwacking of poison ivy going on all around to me. Wind was blowing and brush bits were flying around everywhere.
I now have the rash, which i was expecting as I have always been highly affected by the plant, but I also have a terrible cough and soarness in my throat. Is there any way the wind could have carried small pieces of leaf and/or oil through the chopping of the plants all around me? At the end of the day, it was like a poison ivy massacre had happened, and I couldnt help but feel I had been inhaling it. Im not sure if transport of the oil is possible this way, but i was defiantely inhaling a lot of dust and weedwhacked bits...
Please help me
