My 7 year old son got poison sumac. His doctor gave him a new prescription cream that helped wonderfully!! There is no generic for it yet. It is Novacort. It was approx $60 for one ounce. He also gave him liquid Hydroxyzine. This combination cleared up his sumac in 3-5 days.
