Boy, your story sounds much like mine. Got it in July, just used hydrocortisone creams & aveeno (had never had it before,
didn't know what it was). I never got blisters, just raised, itcy red spots. Finally went to the doctor who said it was, indeed, PI. She gave me topical steroids (triaminicilone). Didn't really help. Went on a 3-day bike-ride and I guess the heat was bad. My lower body became COVERED in it. Bought two tubes of Zanfel(which helped for about 12 hrs). Finally went to
an acute care clinic, got an injection of steroids. Again, helped for about 12 hours, then it came back with a vengeance. People were staring at me and wouldn't get close to me. Came home on the 3rd day, went to my doctor and got another injection. After a week or so, it went away. Every now and again, it starts to re-appear. I load it up with the topical steroids and that seems to help. Now, it is coming back pretty strong, again. Am on oral steroids. WILL IT EVER END???? I read somewhere that the uroshiol can stay active for over a year. Did you hear that? Have you found anything to help? Please, I'm looking for ANY information. . . .
