Dr. Raheem, I never claimed to be an expert, or a doctor, but I have been a medical researcher for 20 years, and I am very well versed on medical subjects. I have often helped people get a correct diagnosis for serious diseases that case doctor's could not define--and believe me they were very grateful, and I am very happy to help people simply because I care. I have also been a 24 hr. a day caregiver for terminal family members for 7 years. I have a lot of medical experience, mentally through my research, and hands-on type training. Please tell me and everyone else what I wrote that was not accurate so we can correct it for the good of the people reading these posts--don't you think that would be best? But you did not say....
I have never given any harmful or bad advice to anyone on here. EVER. Every answer I have posted has research to back it up. I have written lots of replies only when no one else will, or simply to give SAFE advice versus a quack remedy someone offered up. No one here has to listen to anything I or anyone else says for that matter. It is their choice what they do. Everyone should use common sense & good judgement. I don't feel it is necessary to see a doctor as you say, every time you get a rash, cold, or whatever. That is ridiculous. If someone writes an urgent post, and it sound serious, I ALWAYS tell them to check with a medical professional. I cannot see why you chose to single out my posts versus some really bad advice on here. Maybe you are afraid of losing business.
Doctor's can make mistakes like anyone else and often do. The reasons doctors won't post definite answers to help people is because they are afraid of getting sued. You know this is true. Occasionaly I share a personal experience, but all the information I post is in the best interest of the person who asked a question and is always based on factual research. |
