Hi Diana, if you don't believe him, look it up online. You will find in every reference that he is absolutely wrong. Either he is using it as an excuse not to be close with you while you have it, or maybe he skipped class the day they discussed contagious skin rashes. :)
Some people get extremely grossed out by how the rash looks. He may be one of them and is afraid to tell you for fear of upsetting you. My son is like that, when I get PI he can't stand to look at it, or eat with me, etc. Teens are like that. Poison Ivy rash does look rather unsightly, especially if you have a bad case and it is oozing and crusting over. Sorry your husband is not more understanding. |
