I didn't have the reaction you did. I've had steroids and a cortisone shot and expect I will probably get another cortisone shot tomorrow when I return to the DR. I've had PI or someohter variation for almost 3 weeks. It's ALL OVER so it's been a very sleepless time for me. The thing that helped me almost more than shots, Domeboro, ir steroid cream was Ambien....a sleeping pill. It helped knock me out so I at least get some sleep.
Did you try swallowing a t-spoon of sugar for the hiccups? It usually stops them in me. Swallow it slowly.
