Aug 29th 2005. I recently had a tree that was so infested with poison ivy it basically killed the tree and I had to have it removed. I brought in a tree removal company to come in and remove the tree with full knowledge of the large amount of poison ivy present. Nevertheless the people stomped down the bushes around the tree and simply took a chainsaw to it and, timber. My question now is, what happens to all of the poison ivy oils that must have srayed everywhere within a large radius from the tree due to a chainsaw cutting through it. I can't find info on this anywhere; if the rain will wash the oils away, is it still contagious, will it propogate???? Please help... any information would be VERY much appreciated. Thanks |
