There's plenty of PI in Florida too. I used to get it a lot when I was a kid even though I knew what to watch for.
This time it's from just being stupid and not paying attention.
I was putting out a trail camera to get some deer pictures and there were all these vines in my way and I just grabbed and stripped them off the tree, yep! PI vines.
Thats been about two weeks ago, and now my forearms are covered in fun little oozing blisters, some's starting on my left leg, I was wearing shorts of course,and every so often I get a little twinge of a hot spot next the my eyes and corner of my mouth, I sure hope it doesn't start there, but with my luck.
I went to the Dr. today and he perscribed some sort of steroid cream and Zertec? antihistimine.
I didn't want to wait the hour for the perscription so called my wife to pick it up after she got off work and avoid another trip to town.
I tried the bleach yesterday and it made my arms feel like they were on fire, the Contact I took may have helped some but not for long.
Starting to wish now I'd made the extra trip to town.
I guess what I'm saying is, if misery loves company, You've got some. |
