| Hi Patrick. Tea Tree Oil is antiseptic and you can use it for cuts and burns. I like the fact that it is natural. Some people with very sensitive skin may not tolerate it, so if you use it and your rash gets worse, discontinue. Witch hazel will help dry your rash out yet not too much. If you don't want to buy Tea Tree Oil you can use Bactine or any of those type of first aid wash products you may already own to help dry it up. Soaking the area with cold wet cloths also helps with the oozing AND itching. Just remember once your blisters stop oozing, you need to stop drying out your skin and start moisturizing with a good product to promote healing that does not contain mineral oil. Dry skin equals skin that is dying and will flake or peel off. Everything you are currently using except for the cold water treatment is causing cell dehydration. Start putting a high quality organic moisturizer on your rashes such as Shea Butter cream, Emu Oil, Vitamin E cream or oil, or Pure Aloe Vera so you skin can renew itself underneath. Make sure you use a product that does not contain mineral oil IF you can. Unfortunately they put it in just about everything. Do not use vaseline. These ingredients smother your pores and healing skin needs oxygen. If it gets too dry and starts to crack, it will take longer to heal and with that scenario you run the risk of infection. **** The girl I wrote this for took my advice and wrote back saying she had excellent results.
