what a great site. I just wanted to add that I tried a sample of a new drug specifically for poison ivy and oak called calagel. It worked very well on some bumps that were on my toe.
However, I think I spread it by doing yoga and ended up with a horrid rash on my leg above my knee of the inside of my leg. The calagel is good for the itching, and came with a wash that is instant if you get it on there immediately on feeling the itch or seeing any bumps.
Today is the 1st day I haven't woken up itching. Still had a mild itch after a couple of weeks and tried the banana peel today. It DID work. wow. Thanks and good luck. |
