I am now suffering from a poison ivy outbreak because I recklessly cut the stuff along the edge of my field with my riding mower. The wind blew it back on me and now I suffer. I should have done what my mother has done for years, kill the stuff along the perimeter of our property, stone walls, etc. with wet rock salt. The icemelt kind used in winter will do. It works great, the stuff dries up and dies within a few days. This stuff is God's way of punishing us for moving out of the city! |
