I was berry picking, and had some scratches on my legs from the thorns. They were itchy, which I thought was odd, but not like they were gonna get... I thought it strange, also, that the scratches seemed to be taking so long to heal. Then they started to really itch, about 10-12 days after the berry picking. Finally, almost 2 weeks after I picked berries, it dawned on me, I had my first ever (oh, goody) case of poison ivy.
I have been going mad with itching, and the initial spots are starting to clear -- but I think I reexposed myself through my sneakers. They are now carefully tied up in plastic bags ready to go in the trash! Got it in some peculiar spots now....
