I wanted to add that I would not recommend this gel for very young children as they have thinner more sensitive skin, or for open/raw blisters as the ingredients would cause stinging and burning. It works great on the Pre-oozing stage of the rash--when it is extremely itchy but no raw tissue is exposed. I even used it on my son's mosquito bites and he said it took away the itch right away. In reality, the itch is still there, but the ingredients numb the nerve endings. Also, just stroke a very thin layer GENTLY on your rash. That works best & doesn't hurt. I experimented by putting it on thicker, and rubbing it in harder, and it got quite uncomfortable (burned for about 10 minutes) but I doubt it hurt as bad as some people putting bleach & other odd things on open blisters--yikes! I would like to remind everyone reading these that this rash can easily get infected so please do not put bleach and other things not meant for human skin & wounds. I have found through trial & error that you have to use different treatments as your rash progresses & finally heals. [email protected] |
