I would like to update my previous post to say that although the damp cold cloths will help you tolerate this scorge and get some sleep, it is difficult to keep them on you when turning in bed, and from keeping your bed from getting wet. Best thing to do is, once you have your icy cold cloth ( you can also double it over if you like and have ice cubes inside to melt through the night to keep it cool)-- take some Glad Wrap or Saran Wrap ( Glad seems to stick better) and wrap it around your body where the cloth is. Most times we get the rash on arms and legs so it is easy to wrap. This will keep your bed dry and your rash cold & itch free while you sleep. It works better than an ice pack or frozen vegetable bags because of the wetness. Of course you can use this method during the day also.
