The Dr I saw said the same thing when I told her about the hot water. I explained that it kills the histimines (sp?) that caused the itching. She said it would bring more blood with histimines. Whatever, all I know is that it is an immediate relief that lasts for hours. I have since been applying really cold water after after the hot water to help slow down that additional blood flow. I don't think that's really changing the net result though. Really hot water from the shower head has been the absolute best itcing remdy for me!
