| I was cleaning up the garden beds along my laneway, and it actually occurred to me that the vine-like plant in my hand might be poison ivy. I doubted that it was, so I loaded it all in the truck, ripping it out with my bare hands, kicking it into a pile with my legs, lifting the whole pile into the truck, then going to the shop to get rid of it, since we own a landscape construction company (you can't buy pi at nurseries or garden centres, so I'm not too familiar with it ). Two days later, the "bugbites" continued to multiply, and at that point I knew that once again the little voice in my head telling me not to pull out that vine was right. I'm still itchy but getting better (prednisone and some cold beer-not recommended), and there's still a little chunk of vine stuck to my brickwork to remind me. |
