| I found Benadryl to help, and I'm convinced that anti-itch creams such as gold bond actually spread the itch rather than stop it. I'm now on prednisone, 40 mg a day and tapering off in about a week. It's working so well, I wish I could find Prednisone T-shirts. The swelling's down and the itch, I think, is down too (it's hard to tell). Go to a doctor, they'll know what to do. Cold water's great too. |
