I read on webmd that hot water may actually make your blisters/rash worse, to help cure the irritation faster it may be better to rinse the areas with cool to cold water then add rubbing alcohol to dry the rash. Hot water might let the already binded oil seep deaper into the pore making the infected area more uncomfertable. While spreading is still very unlikley I am now suffering from poison ivy and am trying to find fast treatments. I'm no expert but I just wanted to make sure no one had to prolong their encounter with poison ivy/oak/sumac. GET WELL SOON!
