I'm very interested in cleaning methods as well.
I have the garden tools isolated that I used and know they are contaminated.
I would specifically like to know if the oil can be diluted to a harmless concentration or if all it takes is one molecule to trigger the reaction. How much rubbing alcohol would be necessary to flush the oil off hedge trimmers for example?
