Hi Tara, I am around poison ivy all the time now and am extremely familiar with it and am very, very sensitive. We bought 5 acres a few months ago that's loaded with it. I got the worst case you can imagine in Febuary and marched over to Walgreens. The lady at Walgreens said to use Tecnu extreme beacuse it would stop the rash and I could also use it to avoid the rash the next time. I used Tecnu extreme and it stopped the rash right now. It seriously blew my mind how much it helped and how fast I healed up. I've been telling everyone about it because it is hands down the best thing I've found so far. It feels great when you put rub it on the rash. I buy it at Walgreens but I'm sure it's at other places. I've used it 4 or 5 times to avoid the rash. I don't know for sure that the Tencu extreme was what made it where I didn't get the rash in the first place--but I used it and didn't get the rash. Good luck and I hope you don't get the rash. But seriously, if you are getting married--use the tecnu extreme as soon as you read this so you might be able to still avoid the rash. I sure hope that helps. |
