| I'd bet it was poison ivy if it was hairy.We have a barn ,locally ,that is totally covered with large poison ivy vines.If it's really bad, a trip to the Emergency room for a cortisone shot is best.Other remedies I use are cortisone cream.Your veterinarian and some vet supply houses carry a cortisone cream that is .05% where your over the counter cream is usually .01% or less.Lanacaine cream,extra strength helps with the itch but does nothing for a cure. |
