| I've used alcohol many times before I ever heard of Tecnu. Believe me, Tecnu is way, way better than alcohol. It's got other stuff besides mineral spirits in it. I'm extremely familiar with poison ivy because I'm a gardener/landscaper by trade and have been for 13 years. I've used Tecnu to remove tree pitch as well. I'd just say to anyone that they should get pitch on their skin and try and use alcohol to remove it. Then try Tecnu and see how the pitch immediately comes off. The toxic resin/oil that causes the rash is more like a pitch that you can't see. Thanks! |
