| Unfortunately, the rash may appear different on different people. I was recently infected and had three different types of rashes on my body, they were all poison ivy (I ended up at the dr). My husband had the typical rash. Very red which developes blisters and itches terribly!. Please read the information in this site. The rash is not contagious, can appear very quickly or pop up much later depending on the degree of contamination. If you daughter is heavily infected, then get her to the doctor. There are internal and external medications available by prescription which work Very Well. Good Luck. |
