Hey yall, I got poison oak about 9 days ago, and it's been driving me nuts!! It's all over both thighs, behind my knees, and a lil bit on my forearms, ankle, and hips.
I tried benadryl cream, hydrocortisone cream, caladryl, you name it -- didn't work. I took bendryal and now I'm taking Zyrtec, plus using the hot water treatment -- helps a little bit.
Anyway, a couple of days ago, I caved and went to the doc. He gave me a Kenalog injection, but I haven't felt anything from it. But this morning I bought CalaGel (made by the folks who make Tecnu). It's awesome!!! I felt immediate relief -- no itch. I recommend it big time. |
