| I use rubbing alcohol on a folded paper towel, taking care to keep turning the p.t. to a new area until it's used up, then getting another. I really saturate the p.t. so whatever I'm rubbing it on (steering wheel, tools, etc.) gets a good dousing. I even use this on my water-resistant boots. So far, I haven't been reinfected.
