Yes! Yes! Yes! Use TecNu!
You can continue to use the TecNu soap multiple times to treat one case of poison ivy. I get PI really bad. I've never had a case that TecNu (www.tecnu.com) couldn't fix in 48 hours. I am constantly in PI. If you can wash your body with TecNu within 8 hours of being in contact of PI then you will never get PI, promise!
The key is to put the TecNu on your whole body when you are dry. wait 3-4 minutes, then rinse with cold water. If you are worried, do this twice! I survey caves for the Dept. of Natural Resources and I walk for miles across the Ozark hills in PI. I then rinse with TecNU and I'm fine.
I had biologist look at the TecNu contents. He said it was made out of dishsoap and WitchHazel. I don't have the guts to try anything other than the TecNu. So I don't think I'll ever find out if dishsoap and witch hazel works :). Good luck!
