Well, lets say you cut into the plant with your lawnmower. The oil from the plant will splatter around from the fast movement of the blade. (Much like dumping french fries into hot grease.) Cutting it with hedge trimmers at a fast pace may cause oil to fly through the air.
The plant just sitting by itself cannot make the oil airborne. |
