I know I'm allergic to PI so I'm normally quite careful when doing yardwork, etc. Just bought a new house which has english ivy growing on some brick. I wanted to pull it down so away I went! And by the next day, I'm all itchy and red just like poison ivy. I know I did not contact any poison ivy at the time. (I know what to look for!)
Can one react to english ivy the same as p.i.? Anyway, a trip to dr today for steroid shot and rx for oral pills should help until I decide how to rid my house of English Ivy!
