I feel your pain. I am just getting over a 2 week battle. If you are not on enough medication.. your body can take up to a month to get rid of it. I was 75% covered with a secondary infection, and swollen Lymph glands it was so bad.
I was put on a weeks dosage by one doc, I went to a dermatologist, and was put on a stronger two weeks dosage, and I demanded I the shot.
Stay out of the sun. Its not good for healing sking, and heat will make you insanely itchy.
Get to the doc for more meds. Doesnt sound like a weeks worth is gonna do ya good. You start tapering off that week pack pretty heavy after day 4.
