| I've got a poison ivy rash and haven't been anywhere near the plant recently (live in a city). So I think I got it when I unpacked my tent to prep for a camping trip in a few weeks. The oils must be on the tent from last year. My question is, can I wash the tent in a washing machine to remove the oils? Will the urishol oil get into the washing machine drum and contaminate other loads of wash? Or will soap break up the oil enough that it will just wash out of the machine? Also, what kind of soap would be best to use? Thanks. |
