Hey,
I've used zanfel too. If you're highly contagious, it will continue to pop out all over your body, or at least that happens to me every time. I have to get a steroid shot. Try a clorox bath 1/2 cup in tub of hot water , aveeno baths, and there is a perscription called Atarax that is stronger than Benedryl to soothe the itching. There is also a product in a brown bottle called Ivy Out, it burns badly, but it helped me some. I think the key to the Zanfel is to scrub, scrub, scrub with it as soon as you come in contact with it.
